FENG SHUI TIPS

Balance Energy, Improve Health,
Increase Money Flow
using basic Feng Shui Tips

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art that focuses on balancing the flow of energy of any given space to impart maximum health and fortune for its inhabitants.

Feng Shui is centered around the Taoist belief that everything contain energy or “chi.” In order to have good fortune and health, one must find the proper balance of yin and yang.

The main tools used are the compass and the feng shui map of the home called the “bagua.” Together, they are used to balance all elements of the home in order to bring harmony to different aspects of one’s life.

Traditionally, the map is octogonal in shape, but for simplicity's sake, we've made it a square.

To start, line up the career section with your front door as if you are standing in your doorway and line up the rest of the sections accordingly.

Follow the recommendations for colors and elements in each of the sections of your home and the feng shui tips below and begin to feel greater harmony in your life.

Feng Shui’s Tips: Do’s and Don’ts:

Do

• Clear the clutter

• Leave a small space between furniture

• Have two nightstands on either side of your bed to balance the energy

• Place the head of your bed against a solid wall. Ideally you should have a headboard and a small footboard to keep your energy in while you sleep

• Hang pictures with positive images that make you happy

• Place your bed with a clear view of the door

• Illuminate dark corners with a lamp or by placing a plant in it

Don't

• Place a mirror where it can reflect son your bed. If there is one, cover it with scarf or blanket when you sleep.

• Place anything under your bed. This will lead to restless sleep.

• Have plants in the bedroom. Plants stir up the energy of the room.

• Hang pictures of your family in your bedroom, these should be placed in the other rooms of the home. However, you can place pictures of you and your partner in the bedroom.

• Have too many mirrors in the bedroom. Mirrors energize the chi and are not conducive to rest.

• Place too much of an element in the wrong area, this can upset the balance of the energy.

• Live or work in an environment with too much yin energy. To counter attracting too much yin into your living space, open windows and doors regularly and allow sun light (yang) to enter.
